Black Bart Spiced Rum
A small batch spiced rum handcrafted and named after the most notorious pirate to sail the Caribbean Seas.
This spiced rum pays tribute to the rums of the pirate era, smooth, medium bodied and refined. Handcrafted in small batches with 25 natural herbs and spices all individually steeped before being filtered using coconut shell charcoal, then blended with the highest quality Caribbean rum that has been matured in charred oak barrels for 2 years.
Clear and bright, slight dark toffee colour
The nose is elegant with initial aroma of creamy vanilla/caramel folloewd by a mellow aroma of toasted spices with hints of citrus, coffee and ginger
Moderate sweet molasses/vanilla taste with hints of well balanced spices; cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and pepper with a slight infusion of citrus, anise and late ginger warmth. The rum is smooth, long and well balanced
Slightly warming with a punch of vanilla wand and a touch of coffee and pepper. Balanced and lingering
